How to use this mineral wax?

Define the project
Specify the final shape, the support, the associated components, the desired finish and the targeted production level.
Define from the start the exact use of Hywax 6220.

Calculate the quantity
Make a prototype, weigh the wax actually used per unit and record this mass before multiplying the quantities.
Add only the margin corresponding to the losses actually observed.

Prepare the materials
Use a balance, thermometer, wax melter or suitable equipment, clean and dry tools, as well as the final support provided.
Clean, dry material reserved for the application in question.

Melt gradually
Melt the wax evenly, without overheating, according to the chosen protocol. For a pot candle, check the parameters indicated in the documentation, then set and burn.
Record the validated settings to reproduce the test.

Incorporate components
Add only fragrances, dyes, oils, additives or other materials compatible with the end use. Mix regularly.

The Hywax 6220 is intended primarily for container candles which remain in their container and can also be used in certain formulations. Its flexibility and its adhesion to the glass direct the choice towards this type of project. For a release candle, compare a grade designed to achieve a free-standing shape.
